In 2017 Jean-Nozières, co-founder of SPINTEC, was awarded this prize for his and more globally SPINTEC’s contribution from the early 2000 to spintronic components. This work was protected by several tens of patents, and gave rise to the creation of four companies: Crocus Technology (2006), eVaderis (2014), Antaïos (2016) and Hprobe (2017).
